On Tuesday 7th June a team from the store at Badgers Farm, Winchester visited us with a view to offering their support to us over the next year.
Amy took them on a tour of the yard, answering the many questions that they put to her concerning the Charity, the Riding School, PEDS and the support needed for the Centre in general.
When they visited the outdoor school, they watched Tiggie having her lunge schooling with Sami and were very impressed. Tiggie and Sami then joined all the team for a photo shoot and a nuzzle.!
If all goes well and Sainsburys decide to support us for the next year, the Centre will be one of their Charities recognised when then have their numerous fund raising events. There will be information at the store and staff and customers will be encouraged to support the Centre where they can.

Funded by Hampshire County Council, HRTC is holding a series of ‘taster’ sessions.
Introductory ‘Taster’ sessions for all disabled children “You can ride”
Our aim is to raise awareness that we cater for all children, whatever their ability, and that this is something that they can take part in safely and happily.

After School Club
We are providing an after school club for disabled children to learn to ride over a period of 7 weeks in a safe and welcoming environment with our qualified instructors.

‘Taster’ sessions for diabetic children:
“Ponies Educating Diabetics and Siblings”
The ‘taster’ sessions will be held at weekends and are deliberately planned to occur over lunch, incorporating fun and learning with horses. Children will bring their lunch and blood test kits with them. We plan to have 4 – 5 children (families are invited) at each session.
