HRTC are currently looking for;

  • 2 X 13’2h Ponies
  • 1 X 15’2h Horses

    (sizes are approximates)

that are weight carriers and also calm, safe and reliable because they will be required to take both disabled and able-bodied riders, to either be donated to the charity or be placed on working livery. If schooling is required then this can be provided. An assessment is required to be performed by HRTC staff to see if they are suitable. Any videos or pictures that can be provided will aid this process greatly.

Working Livery will entail the horse/pony to work 50 hours a month which is approximately 1¾ hours a day and will cost £140.00 per calendar month.

This cost includes;

  • Feed
  • Hay
  • Field Space
  • Daily Care
  • Routine Health Checks
Please note, there is no additional charge if you go on holiday and your horse/pony will be ridden by both Staff and Students for training and varied activities.
